As the wedding day approaches, the to-do list can feel overwhelming.
That's why a bridal party, organised by loved ones, can be such a special treat.
For this celebration, the inspiration was a high tea.
I love sourcing my flowers directly from the local farms and seeing what's available.
Ensuring the freshness and quality of the flowers is paramount to me. That's why I always strive to source them as close to the event as possible, so that both my clients and I can have peace of mind knowing that they will last and remain vibrant throughout the occasion.
It's also important to me to support local growers and suppliers, so that the flowers are not transported long distances and left sitting around for days before being used.
When clients give me a mood board and tell me to "do whatever," it's not only a surprise for them but for me as well. I never know what I will find on the farm, and I love the excitement that comes with it.
For this intimate gathering, celebrating the bride-to-be, my client requested a horizontal floral installation with a delft theme. After gathering unexpected blooms and gathered inspiration alongside the road while driving on my way back from the farm, I jumped right into arranging them. The inspiration was flowing, and I used what I had in front of me to create some magic.
Regardless of the size or type of event, flowers add a touch of life and love that elevates the atmosphere. They serve as a visual element that brings everything together seamlessly.
